Full job description

Job purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our industry leading business.

The successful applicant will work within a friendly team responsible for running accounts for our fantastic clients, ensuring quality and consistent service across the board.

What we'll need you to do

To manage and lead projects and budgets for a portfolio of Clients. You will be the bridge between the Client and Agency and will ensure everything is delivered on time and on budget, without compromising on quality whilst pushing creativity.

You will report directly to a Senior Account Manager and liaise with both clients and in-house team on a regular basis to ensure delivery is of a high standard and meets expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Building and maintaining strong Client relationships
Providing team support across the business to ensure that we meet our deliverables
Ensure all elements of SLAs are delivered effectively
Monitoring internal project deadlines and budgets, identifying, and communicating potential changes that may be required
All your client’s live projects - ensuring that all deadlines are met, on budget, without compromising on quality or creativity
Keeping the SAM informed of any key developments, asking advice, and drawing on them where required
Effectively briefing and liaising with internal departments
Taking comms briefs from the Client, asking the right questions and writing good creative briefs
Looking for proactive opportunities and driving additional projects/items to sell to a client
Presenting and selling work to clients
Leading Client meetings on live projects - including meeting prep
Provision of brilliant and inspiring creative, digital and artwork briefs

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience of working at a Marketing Agency, with a solid understanding of the elements of advertising and marketing. You may be looking for a fresh challenge or looking to progress to the next level with our support. We would also welcome applications from marketing professionals who have broad channel exposure.

You’ll be resilient and able to build good working relationships with clients, together with a demonstrable track record of delivering for the client when working to tight deadlines.

Person Specification

Essential

Personable and able to work effectively with a variety of different people
Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
Effective communicators, both verbally and in writing
Flexible with a keen drive to solve problems, find solutions
Able to act autonomously
Able to manage a multitude of projects, budgets and events
Marketing experience & knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Driving license & Car
Willingness to travel within the UK on occasion with some overnight stays required
