Full job description

Are you an experienced Assistant Manager or a Deputy Manager or current Restaurant Manager with a minimum 2 years experience in this post, looking for a new and exciting challenge? You’ll be joining an independent locally owned company, working alongside a passionate and hardworking team. Otto is a fast-paced Brunch & Pizzeria, situated on the Torquay harbourside, popular with locals and visitors alike.

We are looking for a manager who can take the already busy and successful Otto to the next level. Someone who can inspire and motivate the team by demonstrating unrivalled customer experience and leading by example in all aspects of the running of service.

As a Restaurant Manager with us you will be responsible for:

· Delivering consistent and memorable service time after time to our guests

· Strive to achieve and improve our brand goals

· Create and lead a fun and motivated team environment

· Staff development

· Liaise and coordinate the kitchen and front of house to maximise covers and ensure smooth running of service

· Ensuring the premises are compliant with all safety and security standards

· Assisting with staff rotas and dealing with staff holiday requests

· Being commercially aware, maximising profits in all areas and ensuring all costs are kept to a minimum

· Working closely with the General Manager, Owners/Senior Management providing input on marketing, promotions and new menus.

Qualifications

Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant setting
Strong team management and leadership skills
Extensive restaurant and culinary experience
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
Experience in food preparation and cooking
Familiarity with bartending and beverage service
Background in food production and kitchen operations
Previous assistant manager experience is a must

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £34,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
