Line Chef – Allards

Allards | Full-Time | Competitive Pay

We’re looking for a talented and reliable Line Chef to join the kitchen team at Allards.

We’re a busy, established restaurant with a strong focus on fresh food, bold flavours and consistently high standards. We want someone who enjoys being part of a proper kitchen team, takes pride in what they send over the pass and wants to work somewhere that is always looking to improve.

The Role

As a Line Chef at Allards, you’ll be responsible for running your section during busy services, maintaining excellent standards of food preparation and presentation, and working closely with the rest of the kitchen team.

You’ll be involved in:

* Preparing and cooking fresh food to a consistently high standard * Running your section confidently during busy services

* Maintaining excellent presentation and portion control

* Completing daily prep and ensuring your section is fully ready for service

* Following food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures

* Keeping your section clean, organised and well maintained

* Helping with stock rotation and reducing unnecessary waste

* Supporting the wider kitchen team when required

* Contributing ideas as we continue to develop and improve our food offering

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

* Has previous experience working in a busy professional kitchen

* Is confident working independently on a section

* Has a genuine passion for cooking and good-quality food

* Works cleanly, quickly and efficiently

* Can stay organised during a busy service

* Has good communication skills and a positive attitude

* Is reliable and takes pride in their work

* Wants to develop their skills and progress within a kitchen team

Experience with tapas, Mediterranean-style cooking or high-volume fresh-food kitchens would be an advantage, but the right attitude and ability are just as important.
