Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient barista and supervisor with experience to join our vibrant team (weekend availability essential). The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Previous experience is essential.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with accuracy.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is essential and enthusiasm to learn and develop the role is key.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Basic food preparation skills to assist with light meal assembly when necessary.
Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
Ability to work well within a team in a dynamic environment. This role is perfect for individuals eager to develop their hospitality skills while providing exceptional service in a welcoming setting. Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
