The Opportunity

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our client's team in London. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer enquiries are handled efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Process customer orders, requests, and account updates accurately.
Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
Escalate complex enquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.
Support administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Build positive relationships with customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Follow company policies, procedures, and data protection requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve individual and team performance objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in a customer service, retail, hospitality, or administrative role is desirable but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach.
Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable

Experience using CRM or customer management systems.
Experience handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively.
Knowledge of administrative processes within a customer-facing environment.
