Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client specifications. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance durability, and contribute to the overall success of our projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and communication are key.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently and safely
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered
Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
Inspect finished surfaces for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards before project completion
Drive company vehicles as needed to transport supplies or move between job sites

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or related field preferred; training provided for entry-level candidates
Ability to operate basic painting tools and equipment safely and effectively
Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate with team members
Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record; ability to drive company vehicles required
Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights if necessary
Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and construction sites is a plus
