Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Full-Time Medical Receptionist, working as part of the team in our busy but friendly Medical Centres (located in Birkenhead & Wallasey) where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and ensure a seamless patient experience. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that supports efficient clinic workflows and outstanding patient care.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, establishing a friendly and professional first impression
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments with precision and care
Manage incoming calls, answer enquiries, and direct messages promptly to ensure smooth communication
Process patient check-ins and check-outs accurately while updating electronic health records efficiently
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning of clinical letters
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations

Qualifications

High school or equivalent
Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and professionalism
Administrative experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
Proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office or similar tools
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills to interact confidently with patients, staff, and visitors
A proactive attitude with a passion for providing exceptional customer service
