Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Multi Sports Coach to inspire and motivate participants across a variety of sports disciplines. In this role, you will lead engaging coaching sessions, foster teamwork, and promote healthy competition among individuals of different ages and skill levels. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a fun, inclusive environment where everyone can develop their sporting skills, build confidence, and enjoy the benefits of physical activity. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on community health and well-being through sports.

Duties

Plan, organize, and deliver coaching sessions for multiple sports including team and individual activities
Motivate participants to achieve their personal best while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety
Assess skill levels of players and tailor coaching techniques accordingly to support development
Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere
Provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their techniques and confidence
Maintain equipment, facilities, and supplies needed for daily coaching sessions
Foster a fun environment that encourages participation, respect, and fair play among all ages and abilities

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching across multiple disciplines or a strong background in physical education teaching
Passion for sports and physical activity with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants
Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and encourage athletes of varying skill levels
Ability to plan engaging sessions that balance skill development with enjoyment
Knowledge of safety protocols related to sports activities and equipment use
Relevant certifications in sports coaching or teaching are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is valued
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sessions efficiently
