Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Seasonal Bar Person to join our team during the busy season. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and fast paced Wine & Cocktail Bar, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently. The successful candidate will be working daily along side the business owner.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and professional manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels throughout shifts
Assist in setting up and packing down the bar area before and after service periods
Engage with guests to create a friendly, welcoming environment
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods
Commitment to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to team efforts

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy engaging with people in a vibrant environment. All applicants must be aged 18 or over, possess the legal right to work in the UK, and be available for the duration of the seasonal period.

Pay: £16.00 per hour
