Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Bar Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
Prepare beverages following standard recipes and safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to alcohol licensing laws.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and issuing receipts.
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
Engage with guests to create a friendly and welcoming environment.
Assist with organising bar stock and inventory management.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is a must, full training will be provided to fill any gaps
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving or working behind a bar is desirable but not mandatory.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
A friendly attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are vital for success in this role.
