Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager / Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry and strong leadership skills to contribute to a thriving team.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members, including serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Assist in managing daily restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experience.
Support staff training programmes, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
Oversee food safety compliance, ensuring all health regulations are adhered to at all times.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food production procedures are followed.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Assist in planning shifts and delegating tasks effectively among team members.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the premises, adhering to hygiene standards.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles is highly desirable.
Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles such as barista or front-of-house management is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills with a professional approach to customer service.
Relevant experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is preferred; hotel or bar management experience is a plus. This position offers an engaging work environment where leadership qualities are valued and professional growth encouraged. Pay: £28,000.00 per year
