About the Role

37 hours per week

Children’s Social Care has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Prevention and Service Development (PSD) team.

The successful candidate will work within a high performing team of Prevention staff and also with Prevention and Early Help providers in Wrexham including Third Sector, Health and other WCBC departments and will have a key role in supporting the delivery of Prevention and Early Help services through funding, commissioning, contract management, consultation and supporting developing practice via training and facilitating networking events for professionals. The role would also support innovative developments in service provision.

The PSD team has an ethos of supporting career development and a wide range of opportunities to support career progression with continuous professional development, training, secondment opportunities and shadowing opportunities as well as integrated working with other teams.
