Full job description

MTM is a global biotech pioneer celebrated for its uniquely collaborative culture. We blend experienced drug discovery with agile operations to foster breakthroughs and deliver transformative medicines.

We are seeking an IT Support Administrator to join our friendly IT team on an initial three-month temporary assignment. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to include more technical opportunity for developing and improving our systems and services.

There is the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position, subject to business requirements and satisfactory performance.

Main Responsibilities

· Provide first- and second-line technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software and network issues within agreed service levels

· Administer and maintain IT systems and devices, including Windows, Mac and mobile device management

· Support user account and access administration, including onboarding and offboarding processes

· Coordinate IT procurement and asset management activities

· Act as technical lead for audio-visual equipment at company events and meetings, liaising directly with stakeholders and resolving issues in real time

· Maintain accurate records within the IT service desk system

· Develop clear documentation and guidance to support user self-sufficiency

· Support continuity of IT service delivery throughout the transition period, including knowledge transfer

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· Demonstrable background in IT support or IT systems administration

· Experience administering Windows, Mac and mobile devices

· Clear written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge

· A reliable, professional approach, including the ability to remain composed when providing live technical support at events

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· Experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, O365, Apple device administration (ABM,Iru) and general SaaS platform administration

· Experience within a biotech, pharmaceutical or other regulated environment

· Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL

Additional Information

· Salary is banded £27,000–£37,000 per annum depending on relevant experience; the upper end of the range reflects a role with expanded administrative responsibility

· £3,000 pro-rata annual allowance

· This is a hybrid role with a blend of home and office work with occasional visits to our London office in Victoria to support events, meetings and general maintenance.

· This is an initial three-month fixed-term temporary assignment; extension or conversion to a permanent role may be considered but is not guaranteed

· Candidates able to start at short notice are preferred; flexibility on start date will be considered for the right candidate

The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative IT team and will be included in wider company events and activities

Pay: £27,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
