Full job description

Sales Advisor (Part-Time)

By The Beagle – St Ives
Guaranteed 15 Hours per Week + Additional Cover Hours, 18+ applicants only due to alcohol and licensing laws. This post does require lone working.

By The Beagle is a busy, family-run convenience store in St Ives, and we are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our growing team.

This role offers a guaranteed minimum of 15 hours per week, with additional hours available to cover holidays, sickness and peak trading periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Serving customers and operating the till accurately
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Stock replenishment and rotation
Maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and presentation
Handling deliveries
Following age-restricted sales procedures and compliance regulations
Opening or closing the store when required

Morning shift duties may include preparing and baking hot food items. Full training will be provided.

Essential Requirements:

Previous retail or convenience store experience (essential)
Weekend availability essential (including Sundays)
Confident handling cash and card transactions
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible to cover additional shifts when required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Experience in food preparation or bakery operation is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
