Job description:

Receptionist/ Administrator/ Call Centre Hub Team Member
Neo Orthodontics is a busy Specialist Orthodontic practice. We provide a high standard of NHS Orthodontic treatment as well as a range of Private Orthodontics.

Presently, we are looking to for an enthusiastic and committed Receptionist/ Administrator/Call Centre Hub Team Member to join our practice in Newcastle - West Road/Quayside. This is fantastic opportunity to work in a Specialist Orthodontic practice and perhaps learn new skills that you have not had the opportunity for previously.

At Neo we value our staff development and there will be opportunity for this within the role. We are a happy, friendly practice that is dedicated to our patients and staff.

Job Types: full time and part time

Experience:

Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, creating a positive first impression.
Manage incoming calls with enthusiasm, directing inquiries to the relevant departments or personnel promptly.
Maintain organized reception areas, ensuring all materials and information are accessible and tidy.
Handle administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication across departments and support event or meeting logistics when needed.
Uphold confidentiality and security protocols while managing sensitive information.
Helping to ensure the reception/ call centre hub runs efficiently.

Skills

Proven office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous administrative experience that highlights your ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment.
Excellent communication skills—friendly, clear, and professional in all interactions.
Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Dental software SFD.
Ability to remain energetic and positive during high-volume periods or challenging situations.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise.
