Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm

At Athena Worksurfaces Ltd, we manufacture and supply premium quartz and porcelain worktops to many of the UK's leading housebuilders, developers and retailers. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an enthusiastic Account Handler / Sales Administrator to join our friendly and fast-paced team.

If you're organised, proactive and thrive in a busy environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Account Handler, you'll be the main point of contact for your own portfolio of customers, ensuring every project runs smoothly from enquiry through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with your assigned customers.
Become the trusted point of contact for all account enquiries.
Provide exceptional customer service and regular updates throughout each project.

Account Management

Process quotations, customer orders and amendments accurately.
Manage day-to-day customer requests efficiently.
Keep customer records up to date.
Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services.

Problem Solving

Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally.
Work closely with our Sales, Operations and Factory teams to ensure the best outcomes.
Take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.

Communication & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Monitor account activity and performance.
Keep both customers and internal teams informed throughout the order process.

Team Collaboration

Support the onboarding of new customers.
Work alongside the Office Manager and wider team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities.
A natural problem solver with a positive attitude.
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Competent using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.

Essential

Previous experience in a customer service, administration or account handling role.

Desirable

Experience within the kitchen, worktop or construction industry.
Kitchen design experience.
