Night Counterbalance FLT Driver

Pay: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour

DB Foods is one of the UK's leading wholesale meat suppliers, providing high-quality meat, poultry, game and deli products to restaurants, airlines, cruise ships, butchers, major retailers and online businesses across the UK.

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Night Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our busy warehouse team. If you have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, enjoy working in a fast-paced chilled environment, and take pride in working safely and efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.

Working as part of our night shift operation, you'll play a key role in ensuring stock is received, stored and dispatched accurately while helping to keep our warehouse running smoothly.

Shift Pattern

Sunday: 10:00am - 3:30pm
Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 3:30am

This is a permanent night shift position.

Key Responsibilities

As a Night Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will:

Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
Load and unload vehicles in line with company procedures.
Move stock safely throughout the warehouse.
Replenish picking locations to maintain stock availability.
Book goods into our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Complete daily forklift safety checks and report any defects.
Support stock takes and maintain accurate inventory.
Follow all health & safety, food safety and GMP procedures.
Assist with warehouse duties, including picking and packing, when required.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment using a clean-as-you-go approach.

What We're Looking ForEssential

Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse environment.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physically fit and willing to undertake manual handling duties when required.

Desirable

Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Previous experience within a food manufacturing, food distribution or chilled warehouse environment.
