Job Summary

Join our brand new coffee/sandwich venture as a Barista/Sandwich constructor, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our customers. In this dynamic role, you’ll craft delicious beverages, serve food with a smile, and assist with making hand made sandwiches fresh. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in food service and customer engagement while working in a lively, supportive setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and baked goods to meet quality standards
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and proper handling procedures
Serve customers efficiently at our hole in the window concept counter, ensuring friendly and prompt service
Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and provide correct change
Keep the workspace clean and organized by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment
Support team members with general duties such as restocking supplies, setting up displays, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue

Experience

Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred and essential
Ability to use an oven safely and cutting salads with precision.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments enhances your ability to excel in this role
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work well as part of a team with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
