Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic & Fast/Fit Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and assembly of various equipment and vehicle components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all machinery operates smoothly, safely, and reliably, contributing to the overall success of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of tools and equipment while delivering exceptional customer service and technical solutions.

Duties

Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection techniques
Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, machinery, or equipment utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Assemble and install parts or components according to specifications and safety standards
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring optimal performance
Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each job
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction during service interactions

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required by job tasks
Basic understanding of welding processes and safety procedures is preferred
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and communication
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
