Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Baristato join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the café during busy periods. The position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills within a dynamic and supportive team.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, in accordance with company standards.
Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to at all times, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the workspace.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces throughout shifts.
Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation when required.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience as a Baristaor in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Knowledge of food safetystandards is advantageous.
Experience in servingcustomers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
Skills in food preparationand handling beverages are beneficial.
Basic mathsskills are necessary for cash handling and order processing.
Strong time managementabilities are essential to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. This role offers an engaging work environment where you can hone your barista skills while delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Pay: £12.71-£13.20 per hour
