Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep operations running smoothly, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of tools and machinery in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical skills truly make a difference.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues or potential failures
Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance using hand tools and power tools
Troubleshoot mechanical problems systematically to determine root causes
Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and optimize workflow during busy periods

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
Experience operating power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques or using lifting equipment when necessary
Prior experience in maintenance or repair roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
