Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will enhance the overall experience for our patrons, ensuring they leave with a smile.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and milkshakes
Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are presented attractively and meet food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while demonstrating basic maths skills for accurate till management.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling.

Experience

Must have Previous experience in a café or food service environment;
A strong understanding of food safety practices is preferred.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
