Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting, combined with strong organisational skills, will be highly valued.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards.
Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
Ensure all drinks are prepared safely and in compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change and receipts.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
Engage with guests to promote specials or upcoming events, enhancing their overall experience.
Adhere to responsible serving policies by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and refusing service when appropriate.

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles within a restaurant or bar environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and presentation standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Time management skills to ensure prompt service during shifts.
A friendly attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service are essential.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
