Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Wet Room Vinyl Flooring Fitter specializing in Cap & Cove installations to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality bathroom and wet room projects, ensuring precise and durable vinyl flooring installations that meet the highest standards. If you thrive in hands-on environments and take pride in delivering excellent craftsmanship, this position is perfect for you! Your expertise will help transform spaces into functional, stylish, and waterproof environments for our clients.

Duties

Measure and prepare wet room areas accurately to ensure seamless vinyl flooring installation.
Fit vinyl flooring with a focus on Cap & Cove techniques, creating smooth transitions and waterproof seals.
Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials efficiently.
Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise placement and alignment of vinyl components.
Apply construction painting techniques where necessary to enhance the finish and protect edges.
Maintain a clean work environment by managing waste materials and adhering to safety protocols throughout each project.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements

Proven construction experience with a focus on flooring installation or similar trades.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment essential for precise fitting.
Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and instructions accurately.
Experience with construction painting techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
Knowledge of waterproofing methods, especially Cap & Cove vinyl flooring installation in wet environments.
Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
Valid experience or certification in the use of construction-related schematics and safety procedures.
