Trainee Showroom Manager / Business Manager
Scarborough - YO12 4HW
£30,000 + £20,000 OTE - Uncapped.
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6pm, Saturdays 8.30am – 5pm with one-hour lunch break and a day off in the week. Alternate Sundays are 10am to 4pm.

Drive Scarborough is looking for a Trainee Showroom Manager / Business Manager to come and join our new and used car sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Scarborough dual franchised business.

We welcome all applicants that are currently long serving Sales Executives in the motor trade or Senior Sales Executives looking for their step up into a Showroom Manager / Business Manager role.

About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about their role within the business.

As a Trainee Showroom Manager / Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Executives and ensuring all finance and insurance processes are fully compliant, efficient, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide customers through financing and insurance options in a clear and compliant manner
Maximise finance and insurance sales while maintaining excellent customer service
Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Executives to support vehicle sales
Maintain accurate records for all transactions, ensuring FCA compliance at all times
Proactively manage customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Deliver structured training and coaching to Sales Executives on finance and product presentation
Monitor performance metrics and contribute to achieving team and dealership targets
Build long-term relationships with customers through transparency and trust

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a long serving Sales Executive or Senior Sales Executive in the motor trade.
Full understanding of FCA compliance and finance product regulations
Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
A proactive and target-driven mindset with a focus on results
Confident in using finance software and dealership CRM systems
Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and management
Full UK driving licence – Held for a minimum of 2 years
