Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring smooth administrative functions and supporting various departments with efficiency and professionalism. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help foster a productive work environment, enabling the organization to thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative setting while making a meaningful impact every day.

Duties

Main duties would typically include:
Answering telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
Taking and processing orders for double- and triple-glazed units.
Entering customer orders accurately onto the company system.
Preparing quotations and pricing for customers.
Liaising with customers regarding measurements, specifications, delivery dates and requirements.
Communicating with the factory/production team to ensure orders are manufactured correctly and on time.
Arranging and coordinating deliveries.
Preparing delivery paperwork and invoices.
Processing purchase orders and dealing with suppliers.
Responding to emails and general customer correspondence.
Maintaining accurate customer and order records.
Dealing with queries relating to orders, deliveries, pricing and products.
Checking measurements and glass specifications before orders go into production.
Providing general administrative support to management and the wider office.
Maintaining a good level of customer service and building relationships with trade customers.
Working closely with production, transport and accounts departments.

Experience

Good telephone and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when entering glass measurements and specifications.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Computer literacy, including email and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple orders.
Customer-service experience.
Experience within glazing, windows, construction or manufacturing would be advantageous.
