Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full Time Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop barista skills, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and be part of a dynamic coffee shop team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Ensure food safety standards are consistently maintained throughout all food and beverage preparation processes.
Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe working environment for staff and customers.
Assist with food preparation tasks when required, supporting the overall operation of the shop.

Skills

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
Ability to serve customers courteously while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in hospitality while contributing to a positive customer experience.
