Hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm minimum (25 hours per week)

Role Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Receptionist to join our busy Accountancy Practice in Harrow. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing a welcoming and professional first impression.

The role is an entry level, varied role with no accountancy knowledge necessary, though skills will natural be picked up through exposure to different administrative tasks. The main focus will be on answering telephone calls, welcoming visitors and providing general administrative support to the office team. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and good organisational abilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities

· Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer them to the appropriate member of the team.

· Welcome clients and visitors to the office, ensuring they receive a professional and friendly service.

· Maintaining a tidy, secure and welcoming reception area.

· Sort incoming post and distribute it to the relevant team members or clients where appropriate.

· Prepare and arrange outgoing post.

· Carry out general administrative duties, including filing and document organisation.

· Monitor office stationery and kitchen supplies, advising when stock needs replenishing and arranging orders following approval.

· Send documents, including accounts, to clients for electronic signature where required.

· Provide general support to the office team as needed.

We're looking for someone who is:

· Friendly, approachable and professional.

· Well organised with good attention to detail.

· Confident speaking with clients both in person and over the telephone.

· Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

· Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic office systems (full training will be provided where necessary).
