Job Title: Sales Team Leader – B2C Renewable Energy (Startup)

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Job Type: Full-time (Includes alternating Saturdays)

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 Base | £50,000 – £60,000+ OTE (Uncapped)

Who We Are & Our Mission

We are Right First Time Marketing (RFTM), the exclusive appointment-setting arm for Right NRG, a top-rated European installer of solar and renewable energy products.

We are a startup on a mission to build a highly skilled outbound sales team from the ground up. Most call centres in our industry focus on dialling volume, churning out weak leads that ultimately waste the field representatives' time. We operate differently. Our focus is on absolute quality. We book highly qualified, strictly vetted appointments with homeowners who have a genuine, high intent to invest in renewable energy.

We are now looking for our foundational Sales Team Leader to help build, train, and drive our brand-new sales floor, starting with a core team of four agents.

What We Want From You

You are here to be a top-tier sales trainer and a hands-on floor manager. Your responsibilities will include:

Building from Scratch: You will help interview, onboard, and train our first wave of outbound and inbound sales representatives.
Coaching Confidence and Authority: You will train new starters to speak with the relaxed, professional authority of a commercial consultant, moving them away from sounding like standard telemarketers.
Highlighting the Need: You will teach agents how to move beyond basic fact-finding. You will show them how to have meaningful conversations about the rising cost of energy bills, ensuring the homeowner genuinely understands the value of our solutions before our energy specialist even arrives.
Enforcing Strict Standards: You will fiercely protect our appointment quality. This means ensuring every agent adheres to our mandatory criteria—such as making sure both homeowners will be present for the consultation and that they understand our systems are a paid investment, not a free government handout.
Leading by Example: You will act as a player-coach. You will jump on the phones yourself to run calls. This includes speaking directly with customers who didn't buy initially, extracting their real concerns, and turning lost opportunities back into revenue.

Who We Are Looking For

You have proven experience leading, coaching, and motivating a B2C outbound sales team.
You are an expert at live call listening, 1-to-1 coaching, and roleplay.
You know how to teach a team to confidently guide a conversation and handle objections rather than just reading from a script.
You understand that the best times to reach working homeowners are late afternoons, early evenings, and Saturday mornings. You are ready to work a practical schedule designed to maximise contact with customers, rather than a standard 9-to-5.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset and want the challenge of building a winning culture from day one.
