Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of their designated section within the kitchen. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a professional environment committed to excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards
Oversee the daily operations of your designated section, ensuring consistency and quality
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, contributing creative ideas
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly
Train junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen setting
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Previous restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in various cooking techniques
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Passion for culinary arts and a keen eye for detail in food presentation
Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential

This position is NOT a live in position and candidates must be able to work in the UK.

Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
