Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a well-organised work environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the culinary field while contributing to a vibrant hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly after use.
Support the cooking team during busy service periods by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating.
Help manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
