Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hard working team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hotel and lodges, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our guests. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, though training will be provided for the right applicant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a reputable organisation committed to quality service.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including rooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces
utilise cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve optimal results
Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to health and safety standards
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Maintain organised storage of cleaning materials and equipment
Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises

Qualifications

Previous experience hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and reliability
Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
A positive attitude and professional approach to customer service
