Office AdministratorJob Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office, managing administrative tasks and providing support across various departments. This position would suit a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.

This is a part-time, office-based position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We are flexible regarding the daily working hours, provided the hours are worked across all five days.

Key Responsibilities

Manage general office administration, including answering telephone calls and responding to emails professionally and courteously.
Assist the Buyer by maintaining organised and accurate physical and digital filing systems.
Take full ownership of the Company Training Matrix, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
Complete data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and update company records, documents and administrative systems.
Provide administrative support to other departments as required.
Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects to support the wider business.
Help ensure the office remains organised and operates efficiently.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in an administrative or similar office-based role is preferred.
Previous experience within a construction company
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills.
Confident written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities effectively.
Familiarity with general office procedures, systems and equipment.
Competence using Microsoft Office and other general office software.
Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
A proactive and dependable approach to work.

Working Hours

25 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Office-based
Flexible daily working hours, provided the agreed hours are worked across each weekday
