Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining excellent service quality. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a professional setting, contributing to the overall guest experience and operational efficiency. The position is fully paid and ideal for individuals with a background in hotel management, hospitality, or janitorial services who are committed to excellence and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning to ensure efficient workflow.
Monitor cleanliness standards across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide training and guidance to team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and address any issues promptly.
Liaise with management to plan staffing schedules, assign tasks, and manage resources effectively.
Handle guest or client enquiries related to cleanliness or service issues professionally and promptly.
Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, work performance, and maintenance activities.
Support the implementation of new procedures or policies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel management, hospitality services, or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, management, and guests.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality or cleaning services is preferred.
Experience using cleaning management systems or related software is a plus.
