As an Assistant Team Manager at Quilter Business Services Limited, you will support the Team Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring team performance and productivity, and fostering a positive and efficient working environment. You will play a key role in developing team members and maintaining high standards of service delivery within our dynamic business services division.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage team in the absence of the Team Manager when applicable
Assist the Team Managers with the allocation of day to day responsibilities
Provide input to the Team Managers for the 121’s and annual reviews for relevant members of staff. Including conducting some 121 meetings.
Support individual and team development needs by regularly observing performance and offering coaching, where appropriate
Contribute to the development of the team strategy and objectives
Assist with the development and monitoring of performance metrics/internal monthly scorecard for the team and with the Team Manager use these to drive and improve performance, costs and improve customer service
Assisting team manager with recruitment
Develop self by attending appropriate training/courses/seminars etc
Handling escalations and dissatisfaction from Distribution and their advisers, to resolve issues, and minimize reputational risks.
Build own Strong relationships with Distribution, and encourage and develop the team to be able to do the same.
Working closely with Distribution supporting our Adviser community, whilst remaining focused on good customer outcomes.
Help to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
Assist in Projects and future developments requiring Distribution input.

About You

Previous manager /assistant manager experience preferred.
Financial Services experience desirable but not essential.
PC literate, in particular MS Office Products
Knowledge of Quilter Key Products and systems would be desirable
Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven track record in customer service & relationship building
Good attention to detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines
