Administrator (Durham)

Up to £24,455 per annum (Monday – Friday, 37 hrs p/w)

Our Role

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Durham office. You will provide a comprehensive, professional and efficient administrative function, supporting our surveyors in the delivery of Building Control services. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring strong multitasking skills, confidence in handling telephone enquiries, the ability to retain and accurately apply information, and a flexible approach to adapting to new processes.

You will need

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft systems including Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience of providing a confidential, reliable and flexible admin service to internal and external customers
Excellent communication skills and be customer focused
Experience in Data Entry
Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and work accurately in a busy office environment
Confident telephone manner with the ability to handle enquiries professionally and efficiently (experience desirable but not essential)
Ability to retain key information, follow procedures and apply guidance consistently
Willingness to adapt to new systems, processes and regulatory updates within Building Control
