Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista & Front of House Worker to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a positive experience, possess strong organisational skills, and have a keen eye for detail. This position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills while contributing to a lively café atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other refreshments in accordance with company standards
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Handle cash register operations and process payments accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and display cases
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling sandwiches or snacks
Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Restock supplies and ensure the café remains well-presented throughout shifts

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently and maintain excellent service standards
