Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Front of House/Bar Staff Leader to oversee daily operations in a vibrant gastro pub with rooms . This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service, managing team performance, and ensuring smooth restaurant and bar functions. As a leader in our team, you will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your culinary background and hospitality expertise will drive the success of our front-of-house operations, making every guest experience memorable.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise front of house and bar staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
Coordinate food and beverage service, including food preparation and serving, to meet guest expectations
Oversee daily opening, closing, and shift transitions with attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols
Train team members on food safety standards, proper food production techniques, and hospitality best practices
Manage reservations, guest inquiries, and resolve any service issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies; assist with stock ordering when necessary
Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and clear communication

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting with team management responsibilities
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Experience in serving guests efficiently while maintaining excellent hospitality standards
Knowledge of food safety regulations and food production processes
Familiarity with kitchen operations, barista skills, and hotel or restaurant experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests alike
