Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Static Caravan Repairer and Yard Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of static caravans within our outdoor yard. This dynamic role combines hands-on repair work with operational leadership, ensuring that all caravans are maintained to the highest standards and the yard operates smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-skill knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a well-organised, efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct repairs and maintenance on static caravans, including fixing structural issues, plumbing, electrical systems, and cosmetic repairs using hand tools and power tools.
Inspect caravans thoroughly to identify damage or wear that requires attention or refurbishment.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the yard, including organising caravan storage, overseeing movement of units, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Supervise yard staff, assign tasks efficiently, and ensure all work is completed safely and to high-quality standards.
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections carried out for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Coordinate with suppliers for parts and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

Experience

Proven experience in multi-trade repair work, preferably within caravan or similar mobile home environments.
Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in vehicle or structural repairs.
Previous experience managing a yard or outdoor storage area is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
