Vehicle Technician

Cawdor Cars – Llanelli
Up to £40,000 Basic Salary + Bonus (OTE £47,200)
PLUS £1,000 Welcome Bonus

About the Role

You'll be working in a modern workshop alongside an experienced and supportive team, with access to manufacturer training and the latest diagnostic equipment.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining vehicles to manufacturer and company standards within our workshop. The role involves carrying out servicing, repairs, inspections, diagnostics, and vehicle health checks while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

You will also be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by ensuring vehicles are maintained safely, accurately, and within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
Perform vehicle inspections in line with VOSA standards
Complete Vehicle Health Checks accurately
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out road testing where required
Ensure all paperwork and job records are completed accurately
Maintain high levels of productivity and workshop efficiency
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you will need:

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
Proven experience carrying out mechanical and basic electrical repairs
Strong diagnostic skills
A full UK Driving Licence
Your own set of tools
A positive attitude and strong team ethic
