Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and meticulous Administrator to join our small team and provide essential administrative support.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, enjoys working with data and takes pride in producing accurate, well-organised work. As part of a small team, the successful candidate will become the Subject Matter Expert for Excel and related administrative processes, supporting the Financial Controller and wider business as needed.

The role is fully office-based, offering an opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues and become an integral part of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Financial Controller.
Function as the team's Excel SME, creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
Use Excel confidently for management information.
Prepare, update, and maintain schedules and spreadsheets.
Maintain accurate and well-organised records.
Ensure data is accurate, complete, and presented clearly.
Aid with data entry, document management, and general finance administration.
Maintain filing systems and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
Provide administrative support across the business as needed.
Manage confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion.
Take ownership of distributed tasks, ensuring deadlines and priorities are effectively managed.

Desirable

Previous experience within a project and finance-based environment.
Proficient in Coretime Project Management Software and associated applications.
Familiarity with project administration.

We are looking for someone who is technically confident, dependable, and hands-on, who enjoys being the person others can rely on for accurate information and effective spreadsheet solutions.

As part of a small team, you will need to be comfortable taking ownership of your work while also being willing to support colleagues across a range of administrative tasks. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to identify ways of making processes more efficient will be highly valued.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator with excellent diligence and a strong aptitude for working with numbers and data.

Pay: £17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.5 per week
