Full job description

Howe of FIfe Rugby Club is looking to recruit part time flexible bar staff. Howe of Fife provides a wide range of functions and hospitality, whether, for game day, birthday parties, band night or a range of other events.

Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Part-Time/Flexible Bar Staff member and become a key part of creating memorable experiences for our guests! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work in a lively, fast-paced environment where your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will shine. Whether you're looking to supplement your income or gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry, this position is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on delivering excellent service and working flexibly around their schedules. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate drink orders and serve beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Manage bar stock levels, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of the bar area at all times
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using basic math skills, ensuring proper recording of sales
Maintain a safe environment by following health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol serving practices
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and support other areas as needed
Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging with guests, answering questions, and creating a lively atmosphere
Maintain cleanliness and cleaning routine.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices is advantageous but not essential.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
