Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Home and Online Tutor, where your passion for education and dedication to student success will make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will deliver personalized tutoring sessions both in students’ homes and through virtual platforms, helping learners achieve their academic goals. Whether working with children or young adults, you’ll create engaging, tailored learning experiences that foster confidence and academic excellence. This paid position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to inspire learners across various subjects and skill levels.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions at students’ homes or via online platforms, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
Develop customized lesson plans aligned with students’ curriculum requirements and learning objectives
Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
Use effective communication skills to motivate students, build rapport, and create a positive learning environment
Incorporate special education strategies when working with students who have unique learning needs
Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress reports, and lesson plans in accordance with program guidelines
Collaborate with parents, guardians, or educators to ensure consistent support and address any concerns

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across various subjects and age groups
New Tutors enthusiastic about teaching
Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and engage learners of all backgrounds
Experience working with children and understanding of child development principles
Knowledge of special education techniques and accommodations for diverse learning needs
Ability to create motivating, interactive lessons that cater to individual learning styles
Reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule for students
