Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organisational skills and attention to detail are highly valued. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with prior office experience who enjoy a varied and engaging role.

Responsibilities

Welcome visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings efficiently
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Maintain organised records and files both digitally and physically
Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Support team members with various clerical tasks to ensure smooth office operations
Handle incoming correspondence and respond appropriately when required

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative background
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and QuickBooks
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed with high accuracy for data entry tasks
Demonstrated phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Previous clerical experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for specific software or procedures if needed
