Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for food safety and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a dynamic environment, contributing to the creation of delicious meals for our customers. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of kitchen work
Organise ingredients and kitchen tools efficiently to optimise workflow
Support the team with cleaning and sanitising workstations and equipment
Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during serving times

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous restaurant experience or similar culinary background is highly desirable
Experience in serving customers and handling food orders is advantageous
