At SmileCare Studio in Nuneaton, we believe a patient's confidence in their treatment starts the moment they walk through the door — and that's down to you. We're looking for an experienced Senior Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to be the warm, professional face of our practice and the trusted guide who helps patients say “yes” to the care they need, with honesty and without pressure.

This is a role for someone who takes real ownership — from the first enquiry, through treatment planning and fees, to a patient's very last visit — and who genuinely enjoys building relationships as much as running a tight, well-organised front desk.

About SmileCare Studio

Smilecare Studio is an independently owned, community-focused dental practice on Bond Street in Nuneaton, rated 4.8 on Google by our patients. We're a close-knit team of around 14 — four dentists covering smile makeovers, dental implants and minor oral surgery, endodontics, and facial aesthetics, alongside dental hygienists, a dental therapist, and a supportive nursing and reception team. We believe dental care should feel personal, not corporate — and that ethos shapes everything we do, for patients and team members alike.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver an outstanding patient experience from first contact through to ongoing care.
Welcome every patient with warmth and professionalism.
Manage appointment scheduling, recalls, and diary optimisation.
Handle telephone and email enquiries efficiently.
Coordinate patient treatment plans and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
Present treatment options and discuss fees clearly, honestly, and without pressure.
Assist with finance applications and payment arrangements where appropriate.
Follow up on treatment enquiries to help more patients feel confident about starting care.
Manage patient plan onboarding and cancellations.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GDPR and practice policies.
Support the team in delivering excellent patient satisfaction.
Lead by example at reception and support colleagues when needed.
Liaise closely with clinicians, nurses, and management to keep communication seamless.

About You

You will have:

Previous experience working in a dental practice.
Experience as a Treatment Coordinator (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A confident, friendly, and empathetic approach.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
High standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
Experience using dental practice management software (Dentally).
Confidence discussing treatment plans and fees with patients.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You'll play a key part in helping patients understand their treatment options, feel confident about their decisions, and start the care they need. Desirable

Experience as a Dental Nurse (not essential).
Experience with private and cosmetic dentistry.
Knowledge of dental finance options.
Experience in patient journey management and treatment conversion.

What We're Offering

Salary of £26,500 – £28,080 per annum, dependent on experience.
Annual performance bonus — the equivalent of an extra month's salary for hitting team and individual goals.
28 days inclusive of bank holidays.
Nest pension.
Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility for a Saturday or a later finish when needed.
