Join Keystone as an IT Support Technician

Are you passionate about technology, solving problems, and delivering outstanding customer service?

We're looking for an experienced and motivated IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Hucknall. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of technologies and client environments while developing your technical skills and career within a supportive and forward-thinking MSP.

At Keystone, we invest heavily in both technology and people. You'll work alongside a knowledgeable team, support a broad client base, and gain exposure to modern Microsoft cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure projects.

This role combines office-based, remote, and onsite support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building strong relationships with clients.

What You'll Be Doing

As an IT Support Technician, you will:

Provide support for escalated technical issues while supporting the wider service desk when required.
Deliver remote and onsite technical support to a diverse range of clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
Proactively maintain and improve client IT environments.
Manage and update support tickets, ensuring clients receive excellent communication throughout.
Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Assist with IT projects, hardware deployments, and software rollouts.
Evaluate and test new technologies, services, and solutions.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and maintain service excellence.
Identify opportunities to improve client systems, security, and operational efficiency.

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically capable, client-focused, and eager to continue learning.

Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT Support or MSP environment.
Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
Experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 environments, including: Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Team.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including: Device deployment, Endpoint management, Policy administration and Security configuration
Good networking knowledge, including: TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP, Switching, Wireless networking, Routers and firewalls
Experience using ticketing and remote support systems.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills

Experience supporting Apple devices and macOS.
Solid knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with Microsoft Defender for Business or Microsoft Defender XDR.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA or vendor certifications.

Requirements

Ability to reliably commute to Hucknall (NG15 7HP) or relocate before starting.
Full UK driving licence.
