Full job description

Overview
We are currently recruiting SIA Licensed Door Supervisors to work in a variety of venues and events across Bristol. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing a professional and friendly customer experience.

In addition to regular door supervision work, festival work will also be available throughout the year.

Duties

Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all patrons and staff.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential threats.
Enforce venue policies and regulations, ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, maintaining a calm and professional demeanour in emergency situations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or other criminal activities within the premises.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, ensuring thorough documentation for future reference.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner while remaining vigilant about security concerns.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution is essential.
