Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Assistant to support our team with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior office experience, strong computer skills, and excellent organisational abilities. This role offers an opportunity to develop professional skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our organisation.

Duties

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Maintain and update records through accurate data entry and filing systems
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars
Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Process invoices and manage financial records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Support team members with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and organising documents
Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
Assist with other ad hoc administrative duties as required to support daily operations

Skills

Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
Experience with data entry and maintaining organised filing systems
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed for efficient document preparation and data entry tasks
Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Clerical experience demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken

This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to contribute positively within a supportive team environment. Applicants should possess a keen eye for detail, be highly organised, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
