Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee food safety procedures, including hygiene practices and proper storage of ingredients
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service experiences
Train new team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen setting
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and culinary arts
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Experience in food preparation across various cuisines and styles
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to hospitality environments
Previous restaurant experience is essential; hospitality background is advantageous
Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service excellence is preferred
